Selected Experience

Masdar (UAE) on the development, financing, construction, operation and maintenance of multiple renewable energy projects across Uzbekistan, with an aggregate capacity exceeding 3 GW.

Electricité de France (France), Nebras Power (Qatar), Kyuden International Corporation (Japan) and Sojitz Corporation (Japan) on the development, financing, construction, operation and maintenance of the 1,580 MW Syrdarya II combined-cycle gas turbine power plant.

Voltalia (France) on the 126 MW Sarimay Solar PPP Project, including the competitive tender process, successful award of the project, development phase and financial close.

Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Government of Uzbekistan on the structuring and implementation of the tender for a 100 MLD wastewater treatment plant in Namangan. The project was Uzbekistan’s first water-sector PPP and was named Best Utilities Project 2023 by the Partnership Awards.

International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the Government of Uzbekistan on the structuring and implementation of Uzbekistan’s first healthcare PPP, involving the development and operation of dialysis centres across three regions of the country.

A major regional water infrastructure developer on PPP projects for the operation and maintenance of an existing 50,000 m³/day water treatment plant and a 4,000 m³/day wastewater treatment plant in the Zomin district.

Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Communal Services of Uzbekistan on the structuring and implementation of a PPP project for the rehabilitation, modernisation, operation and maintenance of the district heating network and heat generation facilities in Bukhara.

European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of Uzbekistan on the structuring and implementation of a PPP programme for the design, construction, equipping, financing, operation and maintenance of up to 17 student dormitories with a total capacity of approximately 18,000 beds.

International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the Government of Uzbekistan on the structuring and implementation of a PPP framework for the modernisation, financing, rehabilitation, operation and maintenance of 23 pumping stations across various regions of Uzbekistan.
