Kosta Legal acted as Uzbek law counsel to a syndicate of international lenders in connection with dual-currency term loan facilities in an aggregate amount equivalent to USD 300 million extended to JSC Asakabank.
The syndicate comprised Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, National Bank of Oman, Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait, Standard Chartered Bank, Commercial Bank of Dubai, Mashreqbank and KfW IPEX-Bank, together with other regional and international financial institutions.
The Kosta Legal team was led by partner Shukhrat Yunusov, with support from members of the firm’s banking and finance practice.
